Liam Knight kicked the weekend off for Dyer and Butler in the Redbull Pro Nationals at Culham. A holeshot in the first race left him pulling away from the pack and cruising through to the chequered flag to take his first victory of the season.
The second race went off without a hitch. Liam settled into 6th position just behind the leaders. Keeping his head he held position until he crossed the finish line.
Jamie Laws weekend didn’t get started the way he would have liked, in the pro class. A poor start and a 2nd lap crash in moto 1 left him struggling mid pack. Unable to gain any ground on the leaders he crossed the line in 8th in mx1.
Moto 3 for Liam showed just how unpredictable the rookies can be. With a good start he was laying 2nd on the first lap until a mistake pushed him back to 16th. Determined not to give in he fought his way back to a reasonable 10th place.
Race 4 in the Rookies showed a return to form for Liam Knight, with a consistent ride coming in 3rd.
Luck still wasn’t on Jamie’s side in moto 2. Bike troubles meant him going out on the practice bike putting him at a disadvantage and left him coming 9th.
Liam finished off his weekend with another good start he sat in 5th for the majority of the race until a crash left him finishing in 12th giving him 5th position overall and now sits 9th in the championship.
The final race for Jamie showed a return to form with him starting strong and maintaining his position through out. He finished up his weekend in 6th giving him 8th overall and 6th in the championship.
