The big names are starting to be released for the OG Farleigh Castle Vets MX event promoted by Dave King and Doc Wob, held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit over four days in mid-September (12th – 15th).
Shaun Copeman of SC Sporthomes, who is a partner in the new management team has secured former HRC racer and British Champion Evegny Bobryshev to line up in the event team race. If there was ever a man born to race a big bore machine – it’s Bobby. The always friendly and determined Russian giant is one of the most popular riders in the world. He made his MXGP debut in the Netherlands in 2008 and has since lined up at GP’s a further 173 times taking his first win in Germany in 2011 and securing 19 podium places across his MXGP career. The former MXGP rider still holds the same raw speed to run up front at GP’S today.
Anyone who was witness to his dominant performance on the mighty CR 500 at the VMXdN Foxhill, is testament to just how quick and aggressive the Russian rider is. Bearing in mind that VMXdN Foxhill was his debut ride on the CR 500 having never ridden one prior to jumping on board the machine that weekend! He will be racing at Farleigh Castle Vets MX on the RJP supplied and built Honda 500 once again and it would be a brave man to bet against him, just imagine what performance Bobryshev will deliver after a little testing and time on the machine!
We have a feeling we are in for a hell of a race!
