Honda owners and race fans heading to Matterley Basin in Winchester, Great Britain for round 13 of the MX1 World Championship this weekend are being offered the opportunity to receive a Honda replica shirt similar to those worn by factory Honda World Motocross riders Evgeny Bobryshev and Rui Gonçalves.
As a special gesture to Honda owners, Honda Motor Europe has created the replica shirt together with One Industries, which is almost identical to the bespoke gear worn by the factory stars racing in the Grand Prix series.
To collect a special replica race team jersey Honda owners must have a photograph or picture available of themselves with their Honda machine (without a helmet on) to show staff at the Honda photo stand, situated in the paddock next to the Honda World Motocross team hospitality. The shirts will be given away on a first come, first served basis on Saturday and Sunday of the race event, with one shirt being allocated per person.
Honda Motor Europe Off-Road Manager Roger Harvey commented: “The shirts are really quite special, and a way of us saying thankyou to Honda owners. This is a special giveaway, amongst some of our other competitions we are running to win one of the race jerseys, which have limited availability.”
Evgeny Bobryshev #777 said: “We were really excited when we received the bespoke race gear from One Industries at the start of the season, and it’s great that we have some competitions to give some away that are almost identical to the ones we race in. So far they’ve proven really popular, and I’m looking forward to seeing the Honda fans at Matterley.”??(Images by Sarah Gutierrez)
