Race Control: Villars sous Ecot

A useful MXGP tool.

Published

on

The MXGP of Pays de Montbeliard will act as the setting for the final round of the FIM Motocross World Championship. Casual fans are undoubtedly searching for more information, as there is a lot on the line this weekend and the name of the Grand Prix does not actually specify where the circuit is located. That is where our ‘Race Control’ feature comes into play, however, as everything that you need to follow the racing is available.

Information

– That is a wrap, folks! The final Grand Prix of the current season has been reached. It has been a long season, as many continents have been travelled to, but MX Vice will not be slowing down. The full team are at the MXGP of Pays de Montbeliard, which is being held at Villars sous Ecot in France, and exclusive content will be provided throughout the weekend. MX Vice will be your hub for all things MXGP!

– Is it possible to watch the action from Villars sous Ecot? A full television guide will be posted on MX Vice in due course, but additionally every moto will be on MXGP-TV over the weekend. That will be particularly useful this weekend, as the WMX and EMX250 races will also be broadcast on the service. Motorsport.tv will reportedly be adhering to their usual schedule now that Hurricane Irma has passed.

– Speaking of the support classes, the EMX250 and WMX entry lists are available elsewhere on MX Vice. Some intriguing wildcards have entered both classes, as you’ll see when you click that link.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course! Fox MX Manager, the ultimate fantasy experience, is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes. What is available this weekend? A signed jersey from Gautier Paulin!

– Who is going to miss the MXGP of Pays de Montbeliard? A full list of injured stars has been put together elsewhere on MX Vice. Some guys have had hard hits recently, much to the dismay of fans, but some are set to make their return.

– Well, here we go again. It seems that MXGP will be battered by rain once again this weekend. Wet weather is forecast on both days, so brace yourself. The track is already wet enough!

– The schedule above is based on the local time, so remember that we are one hour ahead of the United Kingdom here in France. Fans in Australia are eight hours ahead, if you are wondering, whereas those in Florida are seven hours behind. What about if you are in Southern California? The difference is nine hours.

//PEARCY Stats Preview MXGP Intu Xanadu-Arroyomolinos

Published

Once again, our resident stats guru, Paul Pearcy, provides a breakdown of the MX2 class going into Intu Xanadu. Famed more for its access to a shopping mall and McDonald’s than actual passing, the MX2 contenders will be looking to make their mark. Last year, Simon Laengenfelder reigned supreme and was unstoppable on Sunday, with no rider able to match his pace. If you were a betting man, who would be your winner?
