Liam Garland Out For The Season

Some bad news coming from the south coast is that Dyer and Butler MX2
youngster Liam Garland is out for the season.
The 17 year old, 2012 ACU British Youth Champion, aggravated an existing
knee injury whilst racing last weekend and after an MRI scan the damage is
far worse than hoped.
Their was an opportunity to have a temporary operation and be back within 6
weeks, but the decision has been made to have a full reconstruction meaning
at least 6 months off the bike, leaving good time to prepare for the 2014
A disappointed Liam had worked non stop during the winter, improving fitness
& speed and was looking in the form of his life with a realistic target of
finishing inside the top 15 in this year’s championship.
Liam would like to thank all of his sponsors for the opportunity he was
given this year and hopes to earn himself a ride for next year by returning
stronger, fitter and faster.
