Heads & All Threads Suzuki are pleased to announce that the Japanese Championship rider, Ryo Sato, has agreed terms and will ride for the team in the UK for 2014.
The 21 year old has made great progress in his home championship over the last four years and finished 4th in the last season with the backing of multiple Japanese Champion Akira Narita.
Sato will join the ranks alongside Luke Burton in MX2 and Northern Irelands, Graeme Irwin, in MX1 for the Hawkstone International, the Red Bull Pro Nationals, and the Maxxis British Championship in 2014.
Talking of his move to the UK and Heads & All Threads Suzuki, Sato comments;
“The target in Britain runs for the purpose of winning a prize for the British Championships.
I’m not sure of the level, but I expect to run well.”
Neil Prince, Team Manager, had this to say about Sato joining the team;
“I am looking forward to working with Ryo Sato. He’ll be hard working, very similar to Yoshi Atsuta, and hopefully we can get him up into the top ten of the British Championship.”
The teams first round for 2014 will be at the Hawkstone International on the 23rd of February at Hawkstone Park, Shropshire.
