First free practice is done and dusted at Valkenswaard and it’s all looking good. The track is actually quite hard underneath and not cutting up too much at the moment. There’s a good crowd already the Brits are looking good. Highlight so far is definitely the huge triple jump that some riders have been taking on. It’s not you’re run of the mill triple jump though. It’s fast and has a small double before it and that’s why only a few are taking it on. It’s sketchy for sure and Evgeny Bobryshev has already proved that point by very nearly landing on another rider! Chances are you won’t see the riders popping the triple in racing but here’s a picture of Bobby before his near disaster.
