What lies ahead for the MXGP riders, who are currently working through the pre-season internationals? A handful of elite guys will head to Valence, which has been a staple on the calendar for many years, this weekend.
Clement Desalle, Shaun Simpson, Ben Townley and Kevin Strijbos enter as the favourites in the 450F class, whereas Jeffrey Herlings will be tough to beat in MX2. Desalle and Pauls Jonass were the victors one year ago. The rain turned last year’s event into a mudder, and it seems we could be in store for much of the same this weekend. Rain is forecast in the days prior to the event and also race day.
