Antonio Cairoli made a surprise appearance at the final round of the Brazilian championship this past weekend, held in Sao Jose. Cairoli, who was reportedly riding a 350F, unsurprisingly swept both motos despite a lack of prep in the lead-up to the event. Carlos Campano, the former MXGP regular, was runner-up both times to narrowly take the title from Jean Carlos Ramos (3-3). That name may ring a bell, as Ramos has contested various 250SX West rounds in recent years. Britain’s Adam Chatfield, a regular in South America, ended fifth overall.
