Cab Screens join Honda

The Cab Screens outfit have become one of the most popular in Britain, thanks to their proactive approach to their racing. The team, which has not been on the professional scene for too long, first rose to prominence with Yamaha and then later picked up support from Husqvarna. However, they will now be moving onto their third manufacturer.

This is huge step forward for us and it was an easy decision to make. We have two riders in the top ten in the MX1 British Championship and have scored GP points, so it was great that Honda saw the value in what we are trying to achieve and how we operate,” said Lee Webber, the team manager, in a statement. We are stepping onto a bike that won both the Maxxis British Championship and Michelin MX Nationals, so it was a no brainier for me. The lads love the CRF450R already and we can continue the good work we have done with Mike Carter at WOR moving forward. I can’t wait for the season to start.

It remains to be seen who will be riding for them next year, although it seems that Dan Thornhill is locked in for another run. More information will be made available shortly.
