Bryan Mackenzie to join Apico Husqvarna in 2016

The 2016 season will see a new rider under the Apico Husqvarna set up, as the likeable Scottish veteran, Bryan Mackenzie has been confirmed to partner Steven Clarke, who has been retained by the Official Husqvarna UK MX2 Team.

With the addition of Bryan to the team, they now have one of the strongest rider line ups in British Motocross, with both riders capable of moto wins.

2016 looks very promising for the team, and most of their current sponsors are already confirmed to continue their association with increased support.

Team manager – Richard Clarke
“Signing Bry has delighted us. Everyone knows how hard working and dedicated he is, and we are so happy to finally have his autograph on our contract.
We are already extremely excited to get things moving going into 2016. Our rider line up is obviously great for us in our second year of competition, and with direct factory support and Husqvarna UK fully behind us, we have all the foundations we need to get the job done”

Rider-Bryan Mackenzie
“I’m really pumped to be given the opportunity to be apart of the Apico Husqvarna team for 2016.
Looking from the outside in, it looks like a really smooth operation, with a tight committed team that build fast, reliable bikes with strong support from a lot of very reputable brands.
From the inside, I already have good relationships with team personnel from years of just being at the track, and one member that I have worked closely with before.
I get to take my own mechanic too which is cool.
I have a lot of respect for Steven, who will be my teammate, so I feel i have all the hardware I need and will be comfortable with my new surroundings, which is equally as important to me.
We’ll be a pretty strong MX2 Team I’m sure. I’m looking forward to getting started-it should be a good year.”
