Buildbase Honda racer Jordan Booker now tops the Phoenix Tools South West Motocross Championship after taking the overall win with a trio of second places.
On his CRF250, Booker had to fight for every inch of the track against the 450 power of Phoenix Tools MX1 Honda teamsters Maarten Cremers and Jackson Evans.
Evans started the event as series leader from the first round and despite winning two of the three races at the Phoenix Moto Park, Whiteway Barton, Kingsteignton, Devon, he now trails the consistent Booker.
Opening race winner Maarten Cremers also had a poor race in moto 2 and while he and Booker fought for the runner up spot in the final race, a mistake by the Belgian MX1 racer on the last lap, allowed Booker his hat-trick of 2nd places.
Round 3 of the Phoenix Tools South West Motocross Championship is on 8th April at Garlands Moor, Devon See you there.
