Ben Clayton is a 14-year-old from Moreleigh in Devon. He is racing in the Supermini class at Arenacross this year and doing very well! He has had some awesome battles so far this year and we’re only two rounds in. We had a chat with him about what his plans are for Arenacross and this year.
MX Vice: Obviously you’ve been doing Arenacross this year, do you feel a lot more confident this year compared to last?
Ben Clayton: This year I feel I have put much more effort in and definitely feel a lot more confident.
How have the past couple of races been for you?
The last few races have been so fun having some great battles with Kacey Hird and Bobby Bruce.
What are your goals for the end of the series?
My goals for the end of the series are to hopefully have the championship.
Are you doing any other series’ this year?
Nope, i won’t be doing any championships this year due to moving onto 250. I will be doing a few races.
How long have you been riding for now?
I started riding when I was 4 so about 10 years ago now? But i only started racing 4 years ago.
