The Red Bull Pro Nationals is a two day motocross festival taking place over seven rounds across the UK and if you still haven’t got yourself to one of these events, you really should because they are more than just a MX race meeting. As well as the Red Bull Pro National races the series also incorporates the Red Bull Elite Youth Cup where the best young riders from all over the UK race bar to bar in some thrilling race action. The weekend provides something for everyone, from the high-octane Freestyle Motocross shows and ‘First time rider’ Motocross Experience for ages as young as 5, to the Motocross Village and bars for a bit of down time and the Kidzone heroes of Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam to entertain the young’uns!

The season opener of the 2012 Red Bull Pro National series will kick off at it’s ancestral home of Landrake Moto Parc on April 28/29th . The hard pack track has been in use since 1993 and would be considered as one of the best in the UK, incorporating lots of natural terrain and huge man made jumps. The 1900 metre track is fast and flowing including whoops, raised berms, ski-ramps, step ups and downs as well as a table top right in front of the pits. Last year’s racing was absolutely superb and local boys Alex Snow and Josh Gilbert will be on hand to make sure there’s more of the same this year.

The weekend is packed full of racing from start to finish with no fewer than twenty eight races for Professional to Youth. As well as the non stop racing fans will also be treated to two mouth-watering FMX displays on Sunday, with other entertainment provided in the shape of the Motocross Village, Mountain Bike Trials, BMX and the Motocross Try-Out Experience. And for those young families with toddlers, the all new Kidzone will star Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam…. Now that’s family entertainment at its best!
