Craig to do 450MX with HRC

Team Honda HRC have announced that Christian Craig will stay with the team through the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series and contest the premier division, much like he did last year. Ken Roczen will return for the opener, as that has been the plan all along, but Craig will fill the seat that Cole Seely vacated.

I’m really happy to continue riding for Team Honda HRC through the outdoor season,” Christian Craig said in a team statement. “I have been on their bike a lot in the last couple seasons and feel really comfortable on it and working with the whole team. They have made me feel nothing but welcome since day one. We spent a few days testing up at Zaca Station before Easter, and it went well, so I’m happy to see where we are with the setup right now. I’m excited for the summer and am ready to put in some good results.”

Christian Craig has a season-best moto finish of fourth in the premier division last season, then returned to the top five on two more occasions. After missing three rounds due to a minor injury, which was sustained at Glen Helen, he secured eleventh in the final standings.
