Cab Screens set for MXGP debut

Cab Screens/LiuGong Husqvarna are proud to announce that they will be making their MXGP debut at the British GP at Matterley Basin on June 18/19th. The team who are only in their second full Maxxis British Championship and Michelin MX Nationals year will be running two riders, Dan Thornhill and James Harrison, in the MXGP class.

It’s an exciting times for the young team who pride themselves on supporting young up and coming talent and support four riders in national championships alongside Dan and James with Josh Coleman (MX2) and Corey Hockey (125cc).

Lee Webber (Team Manager): “I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve managed to get both lads into this year’s British GP, it’s quite amazing how far we’ve come in such a short time. Matterley is only twenty minutes from our workshops, so this is also a local event for us and I’m also delighted for all of our sponsors without whom this would not be possible.

“This will be a learning curve for the whole team and myself, they’ll be no pressure on Dan and James as this will be their first MXGP, so we need to go with the mindset of enjoying the experience and giving it one hundred percent as we always do and see where that takes us.”

Dan Thornhill: “I’m buzzing for the GP. It feels like the right time to be pitching myself against the best in the world. I’m going there to learn and have fun – that’s all the team are asking. I’m happy with how my riding is going now that I’m over my shoulder injury, so I’m up for it”

James Harrison: “I’m loving being part of the Cab Screens set-up. The team are incredibly supportive and do everything they can to let us go and do our job on the race track. It will be an awesome occasion to be riding the British GP and I can’t wait”
