Unfortunately, Jack Brunell will not be able to compete in the second round of the Garmin Arenacross UK series. The Oakleaf Kawasaki team posted this statement on their Facebook page:
Jack Brunell has unfortunately had to pull out of today’s racing with an ankle injury sustained at last week’s supercross in Dortmund. The track conditions are causing him too much pain to carry on, and seeing as he is not 100% fit, it is too dangerous to risk today.
Jack Brunell: The track was too hard for me to ride with my ankle, it was way too soft and down to the concrete, so I didn’t have the confidence to put my foot down.
Jack is expected to return to racing next weekend.
