Arenacross Video and Report

So far two riders have shared the three Pro Main Event wins between them and it’s hardly surprising that this pair – Adam Chatfield and Jack Brunell – are running one and two as the Arenacross tour heads to Liverpool for its climax on Sunday afternoon!

With wins at rounds one and two at The O2 in London and Belfast’s Odyssey Arena, plus a second last time out in Birmingham, Adam Chatfield holds an eight-point advantage. And the 25-year-old Brazilian-based Buildbase Honda rider is determined to maintain it.

“I want to go out on a good note and win the championship,” says Adam. “I’m almost there – I’ve just got a little bit more work to do.”

Jack, the 23-year-old indoor specialist from Berkshire, knows he’s got a lot of work to do. A disappointing ninth at The O2 after crashing while in the lead, Jack’s bounced back with a 2-1 card at rounds two and three and this – coupled with an extra three bonus points from the head-to-head races – means he’s still in with a shout of the title. Especially in a sport as unpredictable as Arenacross.

“It’s going to go down to the wire this weekend and the way I’m riding at the moment I know that I can beat Adam,” says super-confident Jack. “I’ve pulled a couple of points on him and obviously he’s quite far ahead but anything can happen at the last round.”

Adam’s got a final message for anyone in two minds about whether or not to come to the Echo Arena on Sunday.

“You’ve got to come,” he says, “it’s an amazing show with the freestyle and the racing. You’ve got to come and check it out. It’s great fun!”

Tickets start at just £10 for children and £19 for adults with family tickets starting at £49. Standard box office fees apply. To book yours click here or call the Echo Arena on 0844 8000 400.
