ACU Events, the Series Promoter announce that Max Anstie will be one of the wildcard riders at the third round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship which takes place at the Foxhill, Swindon venue on April 27th.
Apart from the GP later in the year, this is likely to be Anstie’s only UK appearance during the season. With a week off from the busy GP schedule, the outspoken youngster will use the steep hillside Wiltshire circuit to get more time on his 2014 Yamaha. However, he will not be there just to make up the numbers and will pose a fresh challenge to the registered MX2 elite, including red plate holder Mel Pocock and championship contender, Matiss Karro.
Series Manager Brian Higgins explained, “This is exactly the reason we make provision for two wildcard riders in each class as we want to attract riders like Max to mix it in the races with our own registered riders. At the end of the season a single appearance will make no difference to the outcome of the championship as the fastest guy will come through over twenty four races.
The Foxhill venue is adjacent to the M4 motorway and further details can be found on the www.mxgb.co.uk championship website.
