Attempt to not let this confuse you, but there is a round of the Swedish national series at Uddevalla this weekend. The action begun today (Saturday), so that was round three, and the results from that are on here. The programme will then be replicated tomorrow and that will be the fourth round of the championship. Got it? Good. Things turned sour towards the end of the third round, as the skies opened and it was essentially a washout. It’ll be interesting to see if they can save the track before round four tomorrow.
This is actually a particularly interesting round of the SVEMO series, as a handful of Grand Prix riders have travelled north to a venue that they know well. Jed Beaton, Kay De Wolf, Rene Hofer, Simon Langenfelder, Isak Gifting, Thomas Olsen and more are racing. MX2 is stacked! Just as this feature on MX Vice revealed, there are not many opportunities to race before Russia. It is no surprise that riders and teams are taking advantage of the Swedish series.
