The biggest news entering Loket is that Jeffrey Herlings is not going to race. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing released this update on the Dutchman in the days prior to the Grand Prix. Herlings is currently tied for second in the championship, with both Romain Febvre and Antonio Cairoli, but will obviously forfeit a lot of points today. Gajser is 26 points ahead of that gaggle of riders. Maxime Renaux leads the MX2 series by five points entering Loket.
