The Czech Motocross Championship has received a lot of attention this weekend, for the first time ever, and now it is time to focus on yet another series that would typically get overlooked. Arminas Jasikonis, of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, returned to his homeland over the weekend to compete in a national championship event. Surprisingly, it is rare for Lithuania to churn out talent as phenomenal as AJ. This means that he had things all his own way on Sunday.
Now, finding information on the Lithuanian series is difficult to say the least. Results have been sourced though, thankfully, and it is known that the circuit was called Mickunai MX Parkas. It looks like a loamy track, not as deep or rugged as Kegums in Latvia but similar in a few different ways. Anyway, results from the pro class (with MX1 and MX2 combined) can be perused below. Just look at Jasikonis’ lap times and how many riders he lapped.
