Camden McLellan claimed a convincing victory in the MX2 qualifying race in Australia. Janis Reisulis took the holeshot and led for several laps before McLellan made his move and took over the lead. Reisulis finished second, ahead of Liam Everts.
Guillem Farres rode a smart race and finished fourth, ahead of @kayykars33. Farres now has a 45-point lead over McLellan and could secure the world title as early as tomorrow’s opening moto!
Defending world champion Simon Laengenfelder did not line up for the heat as he is ill.
