Jeffrey Herlings won the first race of the MXGP class in Afyon, and with this victory, he secured the world title in the MXGP.
Herlings grabbed the holeshot and never gave up the lead, with Tim Gajser finishing second behind the Dutchman. Romain Febvre came in third, and Herlings’ teammate, Tom Vialle, finished fourth.
Andrea Adamo rounded out the top five.
