2021-2024 motocross, enduro and cross country models with Braktec brake systems to be inspected by an authorized GASGAS dealer for replacement of the rear brake calipers.
Valid for all markets
At GASGAS, rider safety and satisfaction are top priorities. In line with its commitment to quality and reliability, GASGAS is recalling all 2021-2024 motocross, enduro and cross country models equipped with Braktec brake systems. This action follows the identification of a potential issue affecting the rear brake caliper through ongoing market monitoring.
Under certain riding conditions, excessive loads may occur on the rear brake caliper which, in rare cases, could result in the component breaking. To eliminate any potential risk, the rear brake caliper, including the caliper bracket, must be replaced on all motorcycles subject to the campaign.
While the issue may not be apparent on every motorcycle, owners of the above-mentioned models will be informed by personal letter and are asked to contact an authorized GASGAS dealer to arrange an appointment for the replacement.
In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the GASGAS website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. The replacement of the affected components will be carried out free of charge and must only be performed by authorized GASGAS dealers.
Further information on all authorized dealers can be found on the GASGAS website.
Despite the limited number of reported cases, GASGAS is taking immediate action to replace the affected components on all motorcycles concerned. Through this measure, the brand reaffirms its commitment to safety, reliability, and keeping the focus on what matters most: enjoying every ride with confidence.
