Sacha Coenen has also won the second MX2 moto in Uddevalla. These were Coenen’s first moto victories since suffering his collarbone injury.
Liam Everts finished second behind Coenen once again, ahead of Camden Mc Lellan, Guillem Farres, and Simon Längenfelder.
Scott Smulders finished 13th, while Kay Karssemakers was running around fourth place in the early stages before crashing in a battle with Camden Mc Lellan. The crash broke Karssemakers’ clutch lever, forcing him to retire from the race.
The podium consisted of Sacha Coenen, Liam Everts, and Camden Mc Lellan. Championship leader Guillem Farres finished fourth. He lost 17 points to Coenen in the championship standings, meaning Farres’ lead over the Belgian is now down to 24 points.
