After a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury, Isak Gifting will finally make his return to the FIM MXGP World Championship this weekend. The Swede will line up behind the starting gate for the first time this season at the MXGP of Great Britain in Foxhill.
Gifting was forced to miss the opening eleven Grands Prix of the season due to a shoulder injury. The reigning Italian Champion has now made a full recovery and is ready to make his comeback.
Riding for JK Yamaha, Gifting will use the Foxhill Grand Prix to regain his race rhythm, which is great news for Swedish fans ahead of the MXGP of Sweden in Uddevalla on August 15–16.
