Christian Craig to Miss Millville and Washougal

Christian Craig will not line up for the next two rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The American has confirmed that he will sit out the Millville National and the Washougal National as he continues to recover from injury.

Craig said his body is finally starting to feel better, and he plans to use the coming weeks to focus on his recovery. His goal is to be ready for the opening round of the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) before returning for the final three rounds of the Pro Motocross season.

The Honda rider has endured a frustrating few weeks. During the Southwick National, Craig suffered a fracture of the spinous process of his third thoracic vertebra (T3), forcing him to miss another portion of the season.

“I won’t be racing at Millville or Washougal. Thankfully, my body is starting to feel better, so I’m going to do everything I can to be ready for the opening round of the World Supercross Championship and then come back for the final three outdoor rounds. It’s been a tough month on the bike, to say the least.”
