There is good news for Eli Tomac. The four-time 450MX Champion will return to action this weekend at the Spring Creek National, round seven of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
Tomac suffered a neck injury during the opening round of the Pro Motocross season in May. Since then, he has been sidelined, with no clear indication of when he would be able to make his return. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has now confirmed that the American has recovered and is fit to make his comeback.
The 32-year-old will line up at the Spring Creek National aboard the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. Following the race in Minnesota, the championship will continue with the Washougal National on July 25 before a short summer break. The series resumes on August 15 with the Unadilla National.
Red Bull KTM announced Tomac’s return with a short message on social media:
“Eli Tomac is back this weekend! The four-time 450MX Champion returns aboard his KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION at the Spring Creek National. See you at the races, ET3!”
