Moritz Ernecker of the KTM Factory Rookies crashed during the timed practice session at the FIM Junior World Championship in the Czech Republic, sustaining an injury in the process. Ernecker was taken from the track on a stretcher and transported to the medical centre, where the extent of his injury will be assessed.
Ernecker was considered one of the favourites for the 125cc world title.
