Levi Kitchen has won the opening 250 class moto of the AMA Pro Motocross round at Thunder Valley. Kitchen took over the lead from Seth Hammaker in the penultimate lap and went on to secure the victory.
Hammaker finished second ahead of Jo Shimoda, Nick Romano, and Michael Mosiman.
Sacha Coenen crashed twice during the early stages of the race and was forced to fight his way back through the field. Despite the setbacks, the Belgian rider recovered to finish in 14th place.
