The Reisulis brothers of the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 team finished second and third during the third round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Markelo.
Janis Reisulis delivered two consistent motos at the Herikerberg circuit. In the first moto, he suffered a small crash during the opening stages, which caused him to lose contact with the two leaders. As a result, third place was the best possible finish. In the second moto, he was immediately near the front. Starting from fourth position, he worked his way up to second place and kept pressure on the leader throughout the race. However, he was unable to make a pass and had to settle for second place. These results earned him second overall for the day.

His brother, Karlis Reisulis, rode a strong first moto in which he finished second. He held second place right from the start and maintained the position for the entire race. In the second moto, Karlis grabbed the holeshot, but made a mistake during the opening lap and dropped back to fifth place. He responded well and fought his way back to fourth position. With 2-4 moto finishes, Karlis secured third overall and remains the championship leader.
Next weekend, the team will compete in the sixth round of the MX2 World Championship in Lacapelle-Marival.
