Dutch Masters of Motocross – Current Standings!

The CAD2M Dutch Masters of Motocross got off to a strong start in Heerde. Under good conditions and with plenty of spectators lining the track, fans were treated to high-level racing, with excitement lasting until the final moments in several classes.

In the 500cc class, Jeffrey Herlings lived up to his favorite status with two moto wins. However, the victory didn’t come easy. In the first moto, Kay de Wolf kept the pressure on, while in the second moto, world champion Romain Febvre stayed right on his rear wheel throughout the race. The difference came down to the smallest details, showing just how close the top riders are. Since then, several race weekends have passed, so things could look very different again in Markelo.

In the 250cc class, the overall win went to Karlis Reisulis (1-3), but Kay Karssemakers also showed with a strong and consistent performance (3-2) that he can play a serious role this season. Defending champion Cas Valk finished third.

The 125cc class delivered plenty of excitement. Timo Heuver secured the overall win with a 2-1 score but had to fight hard for it in the second moto. Damian Wedage made an impressive comeback after a poor start and applied pressure in the closing stages. Wedage finished second (1-2), followed by Seth Priem.

The 85cc class proved how small the differences are. Three riders finished with the same number of points. Luca Nierychlo ultimately took the win (6-1), ahead of Gregor Lootus (4-2) and Kash van Hamond (3-3).

During this successful opening round, the first comparisons became visible, but it’s also clear that much can still change throughout the championship. The margins are small and the competition is strong.

The next race is already coming up soon. On Sunday, May 3, the championship continues in Harfsen, where the next round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross will take place.
