Lucas Coenen dominates with double win and takes MXGP Spain overall victory

Lucas Coenen dominated the MXGP in Spain by winning both motos and securing the overall Grand Prix victory. Jeffrey Herlings finished second overall, followed by Tim Gajser in third place.

Romain Febvre was forced out of the race after a crash and did not score points. In the overall classification, Coenen took the win ahead of Herlings and Gajser.

With this strong performance, Lucas Coenen also takes over the red plate as the championship leader. Kay de Wolf recovered from a poor start to finish eight, while Calvin Vlaanderen came home in fifth place.
