Valentin Guilod had imagined his debut in the American supercross championship very differently. The Swiss rider, who competes in the 250SX East division, was forced to retire in the Last Chance race after another rider jumped onto his arm from behind.
In a message on Instagram, he wrote: “This isn’t how I pictured my first supercross. But it is what it is. Fortunately, I’m completely fine after a rider landed on my arm during the Last Chance qualifying race. Everything was new to me, but now I know what to expect. Thanks to my team and sponsors:”
