Todd Kellett has won Le Touquet for the fourth consecutive time. With this victory, Kellett also becomes the first-ever Sandcross World Champion.
At the start of the three-hour race, Kellett faced strong competition from Jeremy Hauquier. However, Hauquier dropped far back later in the race due to a radiator problem. He eventually managed to finish in tenth place.
Cyril Genot had to fight his way forward from the back of the field but made an impressive comeback to finish second, ahead of Milko Potisek. Lars van Berkel also came from far back and rode a very strong race to secure fourth place, finishing ahead of Hakon Fredriksen.
Jeremy Knuiman achieved an excellent sixth place, ahead of Camille Chapeliere and Adrien van Beveren.
