The 2026 Arenacross Tour, burst into its final day of the 2026 series at the SSE Arena in Belfast this morning, with the Qualifying sessions for the AX Pro class, Qualifying Heats for the AX Pro Ams, and the youth classes all contesting their first races behind closed doors!
After a gruelling night show on Friday, the AX Pro class had one less session today, and still Dean Wilson is untouchable at the top of the timing tables on his #1 Armor Vision Powered by St Blazey Honda CRF450, going nearly a full second faster than he did yesterday morning. Matt Bayliss put in a stirring rider to claim second fastest for J3M Shocktech Racing, just six hundredths of a second ahead of Stark Future’s Jack Brunell, with Dylan Woodcock fourth for Dirt Store Triumph Racing, ahead of his teammate Eddie Wade.
Deano has a 33-point lead over Woodcock in the series, but with the hectic schedule offering up 78 possible points it is still far from over, especially as former Champ Brunell is just a single point behind the Triumph man in third! Matt Bayliss also has a close battle on his hands for fourth, sitting just two points ahead of AJP Racing’s Adam Chatfield.
AX Pro Timed Qualification
- Dean Wilson 22.569 seconds
- Matt Bayliss 23.274
- Jack Brunell 23.334
AX Pro-Am
Pro-Am Championship leader Louis Brookes was over a second faster on his Stark Varg than the next-best in his Qualifying Group, Josh Taylor, but the other Group’s riders, especially Josh Greedy and Nathan Green, got closest, and local boy Lewis Spratt put in a good time on his Jet Products Yamaha.
After missing out on the night show yesterday, Dan Bewley did all he could do ensure a Qualifying spot for tonight’s show with the sort of Holeshot that makes him a top Speedway Pro, and although Brookes was soon past on his way to an eight-second win, Bewley held on to second until two laps from the end, when two-stroke hero Neville Bradshaw came through. Bewley took a grateful third ahead of fellow qualifiers Harry Lee, Kyle McNicol, Nathan Green, and Adam wells, with Ben White just missing the cut.
In Heat two, 21-year-old Callum McCaul pulled a Holeshot on his Stark Varg, with Greedy and Logan Wilcox snapping at his heels. Wilcox fell down the order on lap two, while Honda rider James Rutter scrapped it out with Josh Taylor for third. Taylor put in a brilliant charge, passing Greedy with the fastest lap of all on the very last circulation to take second, just a second and a half down on McCaul, who was elated to win his first AX Pro Am Heat Race!
Rutter came home fourth ahead of Wilcox and Spratt, with Oliver Williams taking the last spot on the gate! Brookes holds a 13-point lead in the Championship over Bradshaw, with Greedy another point further back, but again with 50 points on the table tonight, anything is possible in this wild series!

AX Supermini
After crashing in the night race on Friday, John Slade was level on points in the Superminis with Small-Wheel leader Cameron Berry, but Slade restored the normal order of things with a clear win today, while Berry took his turn to have some issues!
Mason Staddon took home the win in the Small-Wheel class this time, as Berry had to recover up the order, a lap down on Slade but able to salvage second in the Small Wheels ahead of Finlay Hoskisson. Mason Brown won another scrap with Corey Heffernan for second in the Big-Wheel class, and Slade will be looking for a smooth run in to the title tonight in their final race of the series!

AX Mini
The super-competitive 65cc Mini class saw yesterday’s daytime winner Roy Townley take a loudly-cheered early lead, but Championship leader Blake Marks-Bracey set after the task quickly, while a battle raged behind them between Finlee Pope and Preston Killoran, who have been locked together all Tour! BMB made his move on Roy to take the lead on lap four, and made enough of a gap to make it secure over the solid Townley. Killoran made a vital move on Pope in the last lap to take third place, giving him a five-point advantage over him in the Championship. BMB has a good lead, but this Mini class has thrown up plenty of surprises throughout the 2026 season!
- Blake Marks-Bracey 3:31.414
- Roy Townley +3.306
- Preston Killoran +4.992
AX E-Mini
For once, Championship leader Harley Patel was not on top of the timesheets after Qualification, as Cooper Swan got the first gate pick for the races, but although Swan got the early lead, the unbeaten Patel kept his perfect streak alive with a second lap pass and a determined race win. Oliver Fostun followed Patel past Swan and continued to pester the leader, making the final gap just under two seconds at the flag! Swan held on for third ahead of Maddox Knifton and Ollie Smillie, who equalled his best result of the series. Patel holds a good lead over Swan in the points standings, but Knifton and Fostun are tied for third, five points down on Swan! Will Patel keep his perfect season intact? It’s gonna be fun to find out!
- Harley Patel 3:20.318
- Oliver Fostun +1.746
- Cooper Swan +3.026
