Dear motorsport friends,
As many of you will have noticed, we have not yet been able to begin the construction and preparation work at our circuit due to the absence of the required permits. The fact that no visible work has taken place does not mean that no action has been taken—quite the opposite. Behind the scenes, intensive work has been carried out over the past weeks to secure the future of the Circuit Oldebroek Foundation. In close cooperation and with the proper support of both the Municipality of Oldebroek and the Province of Gelderland, the first steps have been taken to move forward in the right way.
During these discussions, it became clear that organizing a race at our own circuit in Oldebroek would be premature. More time is needed to follow the correct procedures required to obtain the necessary permits.
The board of the Circuit Oldebroek Foundation has explored several options. Although relocating the event might seem like the most obvious solution, this proved unfeasible due to the already packed World Championship calendar.
For the continued existence of the foundation, it is essential to organize a major event. A call from Heerde soon followed. After several discussions with the local club and government authorities, the decision was made to hold a race outside the municipality of Oldebroek on a one-time basis. The Dutch Masters of Motocross will therefore go ahead, but instead of Oldebroek, the event will be held in Heerde. The organization will remain in the hands of the Circuit Oldebroek Foundation. With many World Championship top riders lining up for the Dutch Masters, it promises to be an exciting day of racing on Easter Monday at the Kamperweg circuit in Heerde. This is an event you definitely do not want to miss.
The Van Werven Quad and Sidecar Masters, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4, has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 16. The event will also take on a new format, as it will now have ONK status on the 16th.
The board of the Circuit Oldebroek Foundation would like to sincerely thank the Municipality of Oldebroek, the Province of Gelderland, its volunteers, sponsors, and the board of MSV-NOV for their help and support.
The Board of the Circuit Oldebroek Foundation
