With three rounds remaining in the World Supercross Championship, the Pipes Motorsport Group has announced that Ken Roczen will not take part in the final two rounds of the series.
Roczen won the opening round in Argentina and finished second behind Eli Tomac in Canada. Thanks to these strong results, he currently leads the championship with a 20-point advantage over Jason Anderson.
Because Roczen will not compete in the final two rounds, the fight for the world title will be between Anderson, Christian Craig, and Joey Savatgy, who are all within twelve points of each other.
In the final two championship rounds in Sweden and South Africa, Ken Roczen will be replaced by Colt Nichols.
