ake Cannon will race for Penrite Racing / GO24 Team Green Kawasaki Australia in the Australian Supercross Championship over the coming months.
This past season, Cannon made his European debut with Bud Racing Kawasaki, finishing eighth overall in the EMX250 Championship.
After the Supercross season, Cannon will return to Europe to begin preparations for the new season alongside the Bud Racing Kawasaki team.
Jake Cannon:
“I only had two days of Supercross training before the first round, so that’s not much. I’m a motocross rider at heart and always want to perform well, but my main focus is on progress. With this five-round championship, my goal is to improve a little bit each time I line up.”
Brett Metcalfe:
“I’m really happy to have Jake back in Australia. His future in the Grand Prix series looks solid, and I’m proud to have him racing Supercross with us. He’s focused on developing his skills during this period, and I think coming here is a great choice for his growth. We’re excited to have him on board.”
The Australian Supercross Championship kicks off this weekend in Redcliffe.
