Kay de Wolf Claims First Moto Victory in Darwin

Kay de Wolf secured victory in the opening moto of the Grand Prix of Australia, keeping the gap to Simon Längenfelder at 10 points heading into the season’s final race. In the early stages, Guillem Farres set the pace before championship leader Längenfelder moved past him. De Wolf then closed in on the Spaniard, and with only a few laps remaining, he successfully overtook Längenfelder to take a commanding win in the first moto.

Rick Elzinga finished inside the top ten in eighth place, Jens Walvoort crossed the line in eleventh, and Kay Karssemakers concluded the race in fourteenth.
