Francisco Garcia secured victory in the opening EMX250 moto after an exciting and hard-fought race. For much of the contest it appeared that Janis Martins Reisulis was on course for a comfortable win, but with just over one and a half laps remaining, the Spanish Kawasaki rider made his move and snatched the lead. Noel Zanocz crossed the line in third place, while Bradley Mesters finished a strong seventh as the highest-placed Dutch rider.
