Setback for David Braceras After Giving His All in Loket and Lommel

After two intense race weekends in Loket and Lommel, where JM Racing Honda’s David Braceras gave it his all to put in some solid motos, the Spanish rider is now facing another physical setback.

Things were looking promising on Saturday, with a strong 9th place finish in the qualifying heat and confidence heading into Sunday’s motos. Unfortunately, during the first moto, Braceras had a small crash, and the rider behind was unable to avoid him. The result: a fractured ilium – a painful and frustrating injury for the young Spaniard.

Braceras will now return to Spain for further medical examinations to determine the exact nature of the injury and the steps needed for recovery.

David Braceras:

“After giving everything in Loket and Lommel and finally putting together some solid motos, another setback… Saturday went well with P9 in the qualifying race, but on Sunday I had a small crash and the rider behind couldn’t avoid me. Result: fractured ilium. Now heading back to Spain for more checks. Time to be patient, recover properly, and come back stronger – as always. Huge thanks to everyone who supported me and sent messages. There’s still a lot of Braceras left. See you soon!”

The entire JM Racing Honda team wishes David a full and speedy recovery and looks forward to seeing him back on the bike soon.
