Levi Townley of the MJC Yamaha team suffered a major setback on Thursday. Earlier this year, Townley impressed in the 125cc class, winning the Dutch Masters in Harfsen. However, just a week later, he broke his lower leg during the EMX125 race in Arco di Trento.
His recovery took about three months, causing him to miss a large part of the season. This week, he got back on the bike for the first time—but unfortunately, disaster struck again. Townley broke the same leg and has already undergone surgery in Belgium.
Another long rehabilitation period awaits Townley. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back at the starting gate in top form next year!
