Nicolò Alvisi dominated the first moto of the EMX125 class in Finland. Alvisi immediately took the lead and pulled away. Mano Faure recovered from a mediocre start to finish second, while Douwe van Mechgelen secured a strong third-place finish ahead of his teammate Francesco Bellei and Dani Heitink, who made his way forward from deep in the pack. Jarne Bervoets joined the battle for the top five and finished sixth, ahead of Jekabs Kubulins and Dean Gregoire, who made a late-race mistake and lost a position to Kubulins.
