Jett Lawrence claimed victory in both motos at the fifth round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Southwick. Once again, Lawrence grabbed the holeshot, but this time Jorge Prado and Eli Tomac were right behind him. Prado held on to second place for a long time but suffered a crash and lost significant time. He eventually crossed the finish line in sixth place.
Hunter Lawrence managed to pass Eli Tomac and finished second, ahead of Tomac in third. RJ Hampshire and Justin Cooper completed the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Europeans Harri Kullas, Benoit Paturel, and Valentin Guillod finished in 13th, 14th, and 15th place.
Unfortunately, Kevin Buitenhuis did not make it to the finish.
