Unfortunately, Kayden Minear will be sidelined from this weekend’s Southwick National. The young Australian injured his thumb in the second qualifying session at High Point. He sought further evaluation this week and will undergo surgery to repair a torn UCL with the aim of returning for SMX Next at the SuperMotocross World Championship Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I’m very bummed to be missing the outdoors this season and not continuing to build on the progress we’ve made so far in the pro class. Sometimes this sport can be tough, but the team and I are going to do everything possible to be back stronger and better very soon.” – Kayden Minear
