Official: Dutch Masters of Motocross future secured until 2029

KNMV and Stichting MX Nederland are proud to announce that the future of the Dutch Masters of Motocross (DMOMX) is secured until 2029. Even before the start of the 2025 edition, a new contract has been signed for the next four seasons.

DMOMX has long been one of the leading motocross competitions in Europe, with an always impressive entry list and an extremely high level of organization. The event is managed by Stichting MX Nederland, which consists of MC HAMAC (Harfsen), SCO (Oldebroek), and Motorcross Markelo (Markelo).

The biggest change starting in 2026 will be the expansion of the competition with new organizers, bringing more diversity in circuits and locations. Who and where is yet to be determined. There is also the possibility of increasing the number of race days to four, depending on space within the MXGP World Championship calendar.

Henri Bekenkamp, chairman of Stichting MX Nederland:

“We—Harfsen, Markelo, and Oldebroek—are delighted to contribute to the Dutch Masters of Motocross until 2029. Over the past two years, we have dedicated countless volunteer hours to promoting this sport to a wider audience, alongside riders, promoters, sponsors, teams, and KNMV. And we’ve succeeded! The foundation has been laid, but we expect 2025 to be even better. The participation of GP riders will certainly not be lacking. With this new contract, we believe we can take another step forward. But first—2025!”

Wim Mulder, Director of KNMV:

“As a federation, we are very pleased with the new agreements. Stichting MX Nederland has elevated the competition to an even higher level in recent years. This season, they will once again showcase that quality during three fantastic race days that no motocross fan will want to miss. The opportunity for new organizers in the future is crucial for DMOMX to continue growing and introducing motocross to as many people as possible.”
