Ottobiano (Italy) – The Italian Prestige Motocross Championship kicked off this weekend in Ottobiano, with the Alix Racing Team – ABF Italia ready to battle on the Lombardian sand. Brian Hsu showed great signs of progress, finishing the day in seventh place overall.
Already in Saturday’s qualifying session, Hsu demonstrated his speed, setting the eighth-fastest time in his group, earning him the sixteenth gate pick. A solid result, though he acknowledges that with more race rhythm and better bike feeling, he can improve further.
On Sunday, in Race 1, Brian got off to a great start, positioning himself among the front runners at the first turn. Thanks to smooth riding and consistent speed in the early laps, he finished the race in an excellent fourth place.
In Race 2, another strong start was unfortunately hindered by a collision with another rider, forcing him to restart from the back of the pack with more than half a lap of deficit. With great determination, Brian pushed hard, making an impressive comeback to finish in fifteenth place.
The overall result for the day was seventh place, confirming his improvements and growing physical condition. At the end of the race, Brian expressed his satisfaction and gratitude towards the team and mechanics for their support and excellent work.
Team Managers Alice Filippini and Fabiano Berta remain optimistic about the upcoming rounds: “Brian is improving race by race. We know his potential is high, and we are confident that with the right time and effort, the results will continue to improve.”
The Alix Racing Team – ABF Italia is ready to hit the track again for the next championship round, eager to keep progressing and aiming even higher.
