Tyla van de Poel on the Podium at the Dutch MX Nationals in Oss

Tyla van de Poel from the De Baets MX team finished on the podium in the first race of the Dutch MX Nationals in Oss. Van de Poel struggled with arm pump in both heats but rode two strong races, finishing fourth and third.

During the time practice, Tyla hadn’t yet found the right rhythm on the track. He made several attempts and eventually set the fifth-fastest time in his group.

A good start in the first heat put him in a strong position right away. The race was going smoothly until he started experiencing arm pump. He rode the race in a controlled manner and finished in fourth place.

In the second heat, his start wasn’t as good, but after making several good overtakes, he quickly moved into third place. He then fought his way to the lead and managed to hold it for several laps. Once again, arm pump set in, causing him to lose two positions and settle for third place.

With a 4-3 in the heats, Tyla finished in third place overall for the day. Next weekend, Tyla will compete in the first race of the EMX125 Championship in Cozar, Spain!
